unpopular opinion: I hate that some people think that just bc BTS is performing in America that they are better than everyone else. No hate to my boys i love them, i’m glad they’re building their careers but srsly some people need to grow tf up.
Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been feeling less passionate about their songs because of that. Don’t get me wrong, they are sooooo beyond talented and I love them but now that the fandom is so big and they are releasing album after album things feel rushed and no matter what they put out, it will be a hit. There’s no constructive criticism anymore, so they don’t know if what they’re doing is good or not, if we actually love it or not. Ppl make it a hit just because it’s bts. I miss HYYH era, that was full of soul, miss that or even WINGS.

Opinion #1: EXO’s Tempo was actually good. It deserved more wins for sure. #2: BTS is not overrated, I don’t believe in the whole “___ is overrated” in K-Pop. Everyone deserves what they have now because they’ve come so far and worked hard for it. #3: I do actually agree on the “Jennie is lazy” thing. Listen, this isn’t the real Jennie. Right now, she lacks stage presence and effort. She needs to get her shit together. #4: Jisoo or Rose should’ve done the solo first. Just sayin’.
I’ve never been a big EXO fan even though I like some of the members. Tempo did nothing for me…
My unpopular opinion: I think Blackpink is somewhat boring. I like the girls and their music but there’s something that they lack in their performances and variety shows that make not want to watch their content that’s not music related.
I know what you mean. I don’t consume girl group’s content because it’s usually boring for my taste. Nothing against BP though, as I said before, they’re the only ones I can stand 😂

Same tbh blackpink is the only girl group I can stand 😂 (I listen to the occasional red velvet too) but yeah, it all sounds the same. What bothers e about these two particular groups is that the members are actually talented but the industry won’t let them show their potential since girl groups are supposed to be always ‘cute’ and sing ‘cute songs’ and bla bla. They can’t show their potential unfortunately. it’s lifeu.

I love bts with all my heart, but honestly, it was the fandom that made me hate wanting to be in spaces to cheer on the boys. Ill still support them in whatever ways i can, but i refuse what so ever to call myself an army.
I can see where you’re coming from but I think that it happens inside every big fandom. There’s always the lunatic, crazy, childish, spoiled, (insert the adjective here) “fans”. I don’t think that I myself would be in a crowd waiting for them at an airport for example mainly because it’s kinda dangerous theses days 😂. They break doors now, run after them, etc etc. I recognise the efforts that so many armys put to keep the boys safe at these situations by making human barriers, etc and I also understand that it must be overwhelming to see them in person but there are limits. With all that being said… don’t give up on ARMY! ARMY means being mor than a bts fan! As long as you do your part, like I do mine and so many others do (the majority), you should feel proud to be a part of ARMY because you’re a part of what’s right. You can’t control what’s wrong in the fandom, no one can. Don’t let them make you distance yourself from such a big, diverse, fun, supportive and loving community! 💜
